Mike Moynahan is proud to
announce his appointment as the on-site golf clubmaking & repair center for 2005
Mercedes Championship, an honor he has enjoyed for the last seven years. Moynahan
will have a complete shop set up on The Plantation Course at Kapalua for all
four rounds of 72-hole individual stroke play.
In January 2005,
Moynahan had the great pleasure of
handling repairs for some of the champions from the 2004 PGA TOUR
season.
Kama’aina Clubmakers has
performed repairs for players and tour representatives at highly acclaimed
tournaments such as the Mercedes Championship (1999-2005) and the EMC Ka’anapali
Classic (Senior PGA Tour 1999, 2000), as well as the Kapalua Lincoln Mercury
Tournament (1996, 1997). In conjunction with Roy’s Restaurant staff, in 1998
Mike Moynahan established and still currently co-chairs the Roy’s Restaurants
Tournaments benefiting Imua Family Services (Easter Seal of Maui). He is an avid
community supporter and also simply enjoys the game – as does his son, Brendan
Moynahan, who is the current head professional of the Nicklaus course at
Hualalai Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.
