Mike Moynahan,
Professional
Clubmaker
Mike Moynahan
is a lifetime golfer who loves the game, and who played junior golf in Hawaii
and Washington D.C. He participated in junior national events and competed
on golf teams at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. He participated in
service golf events during a 24 year Navy career, and has participated in and
chaired many amateur events.
Upon retiring to Maui, Mike
converted his home workshop into a golf workshop. Mike always wanted to work
on clubs, especially because he broke so many in his early life. He decided to
launch Kamaaina Clubmakers based on the demand in the community for a quality
golf repair and custom clubmaker. Mike began his training with Golfsmith in
1996
